Parlay calculator
Add your legs and stake. You get the payout and combined odds — and the part the ticket doesn't show you: how often the parlay has to hit to break even, and how the book's cut stacks up with every leg you add.
How it works
How is a parlay payout calculated?
Each leg's American odds are converted to decimal odds, the decimals are multiplied together, and the product is multiplied by your stake. A 3-leg parlay at -110, -110 and +150 is 1.909 x 1.909 x 2.5 = 9.11, so $100 returns $911 ($811 profit).
Why do parlays favour the sportsbook?
Every leg carries the book's cut. On a single -110 bet that is about 4.5%; multiply three of those together and the cut is about 13%, five legs about 21%. Nevada sportsbooks have kept roughly 31% of all parlay money since 1984, against under 6% on every other kind of sports bet (UNLV Center for Gaming Research).
What is the break-even hit rate?
One divided by the decimal odds. A parlay paying +600 (7.0 decimal) has to win more than 14.3% of the time just to break even.
