No-vig fair odds calculator
Enter the price on both sides of a line. You'll see how much the book is charging (the hold), and what each side would cost with that cut taken out — the fair number to compare any other price against.
How it works
What is the vig?
The sportsbook's cut, built into the odds. At -110 on both sides the implied probabilities add up to 104.8% instead of 100%; the extra 4.8% is the vig.
How do you remove the vig?
Convert both prices to implied probabilities, then divide each by their sum so they add to 100%. Those are the no-vig (fair) probabilities; convert them back to odds for the fair price.
Why does the fair price matter?
A bet only has value if your price is better than the fair price. If the no-vig number on a side is -125 and one book offers -115, that book is giving you a better deal than the market's own estimate.
A calculator tells you what a price needs. Our model estimates what the game will actually do — every NFL game priced against ten sportsbooks, one pick free each week, every pick graded in public.
