1. What Black Box Bets is

Black Box Bets ("we", "us") publishes statistical projections, probabilities and commentary about NFL, college football, NHL and MLB games and players ("Content"). We are an information service. We are not a sportsbook, we do not accept or place wagers, and we do not hold funds on your behalf.

2. Eligibility

You must be at least 21 years old and located in a jurisdiction where accessing sports-betting information is lawful. You are solely responsible for knowing and complying with the laws that apply to you, including whether and where you may legally place wagers.

3. No guarantees; not advice

Content is provided for informational and entertainment purposes only. Sports outcomes are uncertain. We make no representation that any projection, pick or parlay will be accurate or profitable, and past performance — including our published record and backtests — does not predict future results. Content is not financial, legal or professional advice. Any wager you place is your own decision and your own risk. Never bet money you cannot afford to lose.

4. Accounts

You must provide accurate information and keep your password confidential. You are responsible for activity under your account. Accounts are personal: sharing login details, scraping, redistributing or reselling Content is prohibited and may result in termination without refund.

5. Plans, billing and cancellation

Paid access is sold as recurring Weekly, Monthly and Annual subscriptions, at the prices shown at checkout. Each renews automatically at the end of its period until cancelled. Payments are processed by Stripe; we do not store card numbers.

  • Weekly renews automatically every 7 days until cancelled. Cancel at any time from your account page; you keep access until the end of the current week and no further charges are made.
  • Monthly renews automatically each month until cancelled. Cancel at any time from your account page; you keep access until the end of the current billing period and no further charges are made.
  • Annual is billed once per year in advance, is non-refundable, and renews automatically at the end of each yearly period until cancelled. Cancel at any time from your account page to stop the next renewal; access continues to the end of the paid year.

Refunds are described in our Refund Policy. We may change prices for future purchases at any time; changes never affect a period you have already paid for.

6. Availability

We aim to publish each week's board before the first game of the week and to update it daily, but we do not guarantee uninterrupted availability, particular update times, or the availability of any third-party data or sportsbook prices. Lines shown may differ from those offered by any particular sportsbook at the time you bet.

7. Intellectual property

Content, the model and the site are our property or licensed to us. You receive a personal, non-transferable licence to view Content for your own use while your access is active.

8. Limitation of liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, we are not liable for any losses — including wagering losses, lost profits or indirect or consequential damages — arising from your use of the Content or the site. Our total liability for any claim is limited to the amount you paid us in the twelve months before the claim arose. The site and Content are provided "as is" without warranties of any kind.

9. Entertainment only; release and hold harmless

Content is provided for entertainment and informational purposes only and no result is guaranteed. By creating an account you acknowledge that any wager you place is your own decision and your own risk, and you release, waive and hold harmless Black Box Bets, its owner, employees, contractors and affiliates from any and all claims, losses, liabilities or damages — including wagering losses — arising from or related to your use of the Content or the site. You agree to gamble responsibly and only with money you can afford to lose. If gambling is a problem for you or someone you know, call 1-800-GAMBLER.

10. Termination

We may suspend or terminate accounts that breach these terms. You may close your account at any time by contacting blackboxbets@yahoo.com.
